To celebrate Israel's 65th birthday, Adat Chaim presents the movie, The Footnote. This 2011 Israeli movie features the story of Eliezer and Uriel Shkolnik. They are father and son as well as rival professors in Talmudic Studies. When both men learn that Eliezer will be lauded for his work, their complicated relationship reaches a new peak.

This synagogue prides itself on welcoming people of all ages and from all backgrounds. It offers Hebrew school for kindergarten through 7th grade and a program for 8th - 11th graders to continue their Jewish education after their Bar or Bat mitzvah called Dugma L'Dor. The sisterhood and men's clubs help college students keep in touch with the synagogue, offer scholarships for post Bar and Bat mitzvah programs and trips to Israel.
