This week's Pets of the Week at Baltimore Humane Society are Ace and Goo. Here's what they each have to say--
Ace:
Hi, my name is Ace and I'm looking for a family to call my own. I'm a super sweet and mellow kind of guy who loves being with people more than anything! I enjoy going for walks and sometimes chase a tennis ball, but mostly I just like to hang out and snuggle with you on the couch. Right now I'm living in a foster home, and my foster mom tells me I'm one of the most well behaved dogs she's ever met! Not only do I have a really easygoing personality, but I'm also housetrained, crate trained, and I know several commands. I have three foster siblings - one dog and two cats -- and I get along great with all of them. Even when one of the grouchy cats hisses at me and smacks me on the nose, I just ignore him. When I was abandoned at the shelter, I was emaciated and didn't look healthy at all. The vet ran some tests on me and discovered that I have a condition called EPI, which basically means that my body doesn't produce the enzymes necessary to digest food properly. So now I just get a powder sprinkled on my food every day, and it's working well... I'm up to my ideal weight with a healthy, shiny coat! My condition is easy to manage, so I hope it won't stop you from wanting to adopt me. If you're looking for a sweet and polite boy like me who will be your best friend, please contact the shelter so they can arrange for us to meet!
Goo:
Hello. My name is Goo and I was brought to BHS with my sister Tara because we were found outside a vet hospital. The nice staff there took care of us for awhile, but then they had to bring us here. We are both super sweet and like people a lot. Sometimes I do have a tendency to be a little timid so just be patient with me, please. If you are looking to add a nice young cat to your family, then please visit BHS soon so you can see how sweet I am for yourself. Thank you and see you soon.
The adoption fee for Ace is $82.50 (1/2 off special) and $105 for Goo. Plus get a free bag of starter food!
October is Adopt A Shelter Dog Month
½ Off Adoption Fee For All Dogs!
