Art, music and community groups take over the grounds at Franklin Middle School for Reisterstown’s spring art festival.
After last year’s festival was cancelled, Bloomin’ Artfest is back on Saturday. Reisterstown annual spring art festival will bring artists and crafters, live music, food vendors community groups and more to Franklin Middle School from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The free festival features music by The Reisterstown Jazz Ensemble, Lyle & Cat Montanye and Heads Up, the official Ravens Walk. The festival will also be raffling an autographed Joe Flacco football. In addition to the music and art, there will be flowers, vegetables and herbs for sale, a children’s area, non-profits and community groups. Dancing With The Stars features two performers with Baltimore ties.
Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones and partner Karina Smirnoff improved upon their debut performance on Dancing With The Stars Monday night. The pair earned a 20 out of 30, up one point from the week prior. The show also featured Baltimore's Dorothy Hamill, the Olympic and world champion figure skater. She and partner Tristan McManus earned a 15, as Hamill struggled through a back injury. The series airs on Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC. TELL US: Did you watch Monday's show? Dancing With The Stars debuted its new season Monday night, featuring the Ravens receiver and the Baltimore-based figure skating champion.
Ravens receiver Jacoby Jones broke out "the squirrel" with partner Karina Smirnoff in his first performance on Dancing With The Stars Monday night. The season premiere also featured Baltimore's Dorothy Hamill, the Olympic and world champion figure skater. Check out the video with this post for their performances. Jones earned a score of 19 out of 30 dancing to "Cha Cha Cha", while Hamill pulled in a 21 with her perfomance to "Tiny Dancer." The series airs on Monday and Tuesday nights on ABC. Jones was asked to perform on the program after his charisma and dance moves were on display during and following the Ravens' Super Bowl victory in February. Reisterstown’s Bloomin’ Artfest is seeking vendors for its festival on May 11. Organizers are seeking food, art and craft vendors for the festival, which runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The festival is held at Franklin Middle School and features art, music, food and a variety of community organizations.
