Winter Weather Advisory In Effect for Baltimore County

The advisory goes into effect at 11 p.m. tonight.

 

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for most of central Maryland, including Baltimore County, starting at 11 p.m. tonight.

Forecasters are calling for a mix of sleet, freezing rain and snow overnight through Saturday morning and early afternoon. They are predicting between 1-2 inches of snow and sleet, with one-tenth of an inch of freezing rain. The precipitation will end early Saturday afternoon and the advisory ends at 1 p.m. Saturday.

Foot's Forecast for Central Maryland is predicting most the accumulations to occurr in areas north and west of Baltimore.
