Poll: Will You Watch the Pro Bowl?

Several Ravens have decided to skip the game.

Does anyone want to play in the Pro Bowl?

The Ravens were once one of the most well-represented teams in the NFL's annual all-star game in Honolulu, HI. Now, half of the eight players given an invite have said they won't play.

Safety Ed Reed, outside linebacker Terrell Suggs, defensive tackle Haloti Ngata and running back Ray Rice will all sit out Sunday's game, citing various injuries or family commitments.

Inside linebacker Ray Lewis, fullback Vonta Leach and guards Marshal Yanda and Ben Grubbs are still scheduled to suit up.

But given that even some players don't seem interested, will you bother watching the game when the ball is kicked off at Aloha Stadium Sunday at 7 p.m.?

I never watch any All Star games. The Major League Baseball All Star used to be a big event when I was a kid, but I haven't watched that in 25 years.

Absolutely not. I exerted more energy typing this sentence than NFL players put forth in the Pro Bowl.

Of all the All Star games this one is the worst. It's more of a function to peddle products than anything else. Gimme Family Guy over this stinker anytime.

I will watch it as soon as the NFL reverses the call on Evan's TD in the Ravens Patriots game.

I'm not a fan of the All Star games for the same reason Marv states: they're endorsement fests. They also add another opportunity for the players to injure themselves, even if the hits are supposed to be low-key. Fuhgeddaboutit.
