Stevenson University has branded its newly acquired, $10.5 million property in Owings Mills.
A sign was placed outside the university's new 28-acre plot off Crondall Lane in mid December, a university spokeswoman said.
New lettering was also on the side of the basketball arena facing Owings Mills Boulevard.
Thursday, university maintenance workers were hanging a banner advertising the new property -- previously owned by Shire Pharmaceuticals -- which will be converted into academic space and ultimately connected to the main campus in Owings Mills.
Stevenson's School of the Sciences and School of Design -- both currently located on the university's Greenspring campus -- will move to the site by August 2013.
Initially, only the two existing buildings on the property will be used, but an additional 17-acres could be developed, a university official said in November.
