The bar was open from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at BB&T Bank's Owings Mills branch. Dozens of members and guests gathered there for the ROMG Chamber of Commerce networking event, an opportunity to mingle with a range of area professionals and participate in drawings and a silent auction.

Dozens of members and guests of the Reisterstown-Owings Mills-Glyndon Chamber of Commerce exchanged business cards over drinks and food at its "After Hours Networking" event at BB&T Bank Thursday.
The gathering was part of ROMG Chamber's President Erin Trudo's plan to revitalize and develop relationships in the Chamber of Commerce and beyond. The newly inducted leader has said she plans on increasing the chamber's programming, including events, as well as using the power of its website and Facebook to strengthen its sense of community.
The event also served as a way to highlight cystic fibrosis research, a non-federally funded field, with donations and a silent auction on hand to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The BB&T Bank in Reisterstown will host a Variety Show Expo this Saturday, which will play host to vendors in fashion, paintings, candles and more in hopes of raising $2,500.
