A Reisterstown man is dead following a single car accident early Sunday morning.
Christopher Klinefelter, 27, of the unit block of Bosley Lane, died of injuries sustained in the crash, police said. No other people or vehicles were involved in the crash.
Klinefelter was travelling southbound on Garrison Forest Road around 2 a.m. when he "failed to negotiate a curve," drove off the road and struck a retaining wall, according to an email from police spokesman Lt. Robert McCullough.
The vehicle, a 2006 GMC Sierra, then flipped while airborne and landed back in the roadway. Klinefelter was ejected from the vehicle, McCullough wrote.
He was transported to Northwest Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The crash remains under investigation, and no further details were made available.
