Police: Two Armed Robberies May Be Connected
Police believe the same man may have robbed the Main Street Veterinary Hospital and Pizza Hut in Reisterstown last week.
Two armed robberies may have been committed by the same man last week, Baltimore County Police said.
The Reisterstown Pizza Hut and the Main Street Veterinary Hospital in Owings Mills were robbed by an armed man with a similar description, according to Capt. Matt McElwee, commander of Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.
A man with a handgun entered the Pizza Hut on W. Chesnut Hill Lane in Reisterstown and pointed it at the cashier on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at 9:45 p.m. and demanded money. The employee put money in the suspect’s bag, and he fled on foot.
On Thursday, an armed man grabbed an employee who was outside of the Main Street Veterinary Hospital in Owings Mills, forced her into the building and demanded money while waving a small silver revolver. The suspect fled on foot with cash, dropping the victim’s cell phone and credit card receipts.
The investigation is ongoing, McElwee said.

I can't believe someone robbed my veterinarian's office. What is this world coming to? Never heard a robber target a vet's office. What a loon... Glad I wasn't there.

And Vet. Clinics don't have a lot of cash on hand. Sounds like the work of a 'Doper'.
