Police: Search Continues For Missing Owings Mills Man
James White has been missing since Feb. 26.
Baltimore County Police continued the search for a critical missing person in the Owings Mills area Thursday.
Police detectives and other law enforcement agencies are searching for 64-year-old James White, who was reported missing from a group home on Lehigh Court on Feb. 26, according to a new release from the police department.
Detectives canvassed the area and helicopters were used in the search, the second conducted by the department, but investigators were unable to locate White.
On Tuesday, White's family came forward offering a $5,300 reward for information that leads to his safe return, according to WJZ.
White (photo attached), is described as a black male, 5’7’’, 186 pounds, with brown eyes and bald. He is non-verbal and may not be able to find his way home, police said.
White shuffles his feet when he walks and walks hunched over. He does not understand that he has to pay for things at stores and may get accused of shoplifting, according to police.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat with white lettering, a black jacket with leather arms, gray dress pants and black and white shoes. Police don’t know what direction he traveled in, and he does not have access to a vehicle and doesn’t use the MTA, police said.
