Police: Four Armed Robberies Connected

Baltimore County Police are investigating robberies in Owings Mills and Reisterstown.

Baltimore County Police are investigating four armed robberies in the northwest county corridor as part of a trend.

Police believe the same men are responsible for three Dunkin' Donuts robberies and one Wendy's robbery in Reisterstown and Owings Mills, said Capt. Matthew McElwee, commander of county police's Franklin Precinct No. 3.

The following crimes are being investigated as part of a trend:

Baltimore County Police’s commercial robbery unit is actively investigating these four cases together, McElwee said.

Several previous commercial robberies are still under investigation, including the Sept. 25 robbery of the M&T Bank in Reisterstown.

This is the second commercial robbery trend of the year. Police believe five incidents that occurred in August and September in Reisterstown and Owings Mills are also connected, and those are also still under investigation, McElwee said.

In my mind, it is time to leave Maryland, period. I don't think it is right to give a so called "poor" family a voucher to move to a neighborhood with less than 10% poverty level. This is what "Move to Opoortunity" is. My family worked hard to own our home. Now there are a few Move to Opportunity rentals with families that don't know how to act among homeowners. Cut your grass, don't throw trash on the street, don''t play profanity laced music so loud, you can hear it all over the block. I am sick of politicans that pander to groups that just look for handouts.

Parkvillehoney.....look at MBQ Baltimore...just Google it and read their site.

It's a grant funded program with the sole purpose of taking african americans from poor neighborhoods to non african americans free of charge to them or at an insanely reduced rate.

They dont even try to hide it in their mission statement by saying "poverty" or "poor". It's moving blacks from the city into the white suburbs.

Sad really.

I Googled MBQ Baltimore and read through several pages of their site. I don't see anything on the site that says they cater exclusively to Blacks. I also don't see anything that states that their purpose is to move Blacks from poor areas to "non African American" areas (if that is what you were saying). Their mission seems to be to move poor folk from the city to the surrounding counties where they are expected to have better opportunity (better schools, etc.). Personally, I have mixed feelings about these programs. As an aside, there are already significant numbers of Blacks in most of the program's target areas, like Columbia and Baltimore County.

So what would you call this type Of program in Carroll County, or Westminster because they do the same for poor whites? Just wondering!!!

Show me a website or program? I provided one to back up my comments.

Show me a website or program that says their mission is to move poor whites from poor white neighborhoods into middle/upper class neighborhoods.

I'll be waiting.

Yes, please move to Carroll County or Frederick. The white people there will surely welcome you.

Personally, I like Owings Mills because I don't have a bunch of uptight white Republicans as neighbors. I don't like crime, but I like racists even less.

People of color can be uptight too. You seem pretty stereotypical yourself. Who's the racist now you punk?
