Police Confirm Human Hand Found in Reisterstown
Baltimore County Police confirmed that a human hand was found on a Reisterstown property on Wednesday.
Police confirmed that a human hand was found on a Reisterstown property Wednesday morning.
The hand, which consisted mostly of skeletal remains, was found in the 300 block of Hedge Pocket Way by a landscaper working in the area. He called police at 11:08 a.m., said Cpl. Cathy Batton, a Baltimore County police spokeswoman.
Police were awaiting the results of the Chief Medical Examiner’s tests, which confirmed Thursday that what was found is a human hand, according to a press release.
The case is still under investigation, police said.

I think they're supposed to "wave them around like they just don't care" and something went horribly wrong if they just threw their hands in the air.

And to the few who can't take a joke... lighten up a little! Sure... someout out there is missing their hand but clearly they aren't missing it too much -- otherwise they would have claimed it when it uh... fell off.

On a serious note, my suspicion is at some point the police will find the remainder of the body this hand came from. The hand was probably moved to the location where it was found by an animal snacking on the carcass. Perhaps DNA from the bones will lead to a missing person and close a case.

Trice, Please don't take the comments above in anger, people use humor to cover up the pain. Its how some handle tragic incidents, poor taste yes. Many comedians have tragic backgrounds and many who walk with us that are funny to lift the burden of pain they carry so you don't see it. The comments that carry hatred and anger is a different story.Welcome to patch and Sorry for your loss Trice !
