Police Blotter: Papa John’s Safe, Copper, Lawnmowers Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
First-Degree Burglary
An unknown suspect entered an apartment on the 100 block of Enchanted Hills Road, vandalized the apartment and stole DVDs, pillows and a blanket and destroyed computers and an air mattress between Wednesday, May 16, at 7 p.m., and Friday, May 18, at 1:30 p.m.
Second-Degree Burglary
An unknown suspect obtained a key from an adjacent business, and cut a hole in the adjoining wall to Papa John’s Pizza, at 11708 Reisterstown Road, and removed a safe containing an unknown amount of currency on Sunday, May 20, between 3:17 a.m. and 3:58 p.m. This also carries a fourth-degree burglary charge.
Two unknown suspects stole copper wiring from a burned out apartment building on Caraway Road in Reisterstown on Sunday, May 20. They were seen leaving in a navy blue Honda SUV.
An unknown suspect stole a riding lawnmower from an unlocked shed at a home on the 100 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Owings Mills between Thursday, May 17, at 6 p.m., and Saturday, May 19, at 11:30 a.m.
An unknown suspect removed a John Deere riding mower from a home on St. Thomas Lane in Owings Mills between Thursday, May 17, 5 p.m. and Friday, May 18, at 11 a.m.
An unknown suspect pried open the door to a detached garage and rear door to a home on the 15000 block of Dover Road in Reisterstown and took an air compressor, box saw and chop saw from the garage on Tuesday, May 15, between 1:50 p.m. and 2:50 p.m. Nothing was taken from the home.
Fourth-Degree Burglary
An unknown suspect removed a bicycle from the back porch of a home on the 300 block of Highknob Lane in Reisterstown on Sunday, May 20, between 3:45 p.m. and 4:10 p.m.
An unknown suspect broke into a vacant home in the 100 block of Chargeur Road in Reisterstown and was possible living there between Friday, May 18, at 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 19, at 3 p.m.
Attempted Burglary
An unknown suspect entered an apartment on the 4500 block of Lyons Run Circle in Owings Mills, saw that the owner was home and left on Thursday, May 17, between 9 a.m. and 9:58 a.m.
An unknown suspect tried to enter a vacant home on the 300 block of Town Green Way in Reisterstown between Monday, May 14, at 4 p.m., and Wednesday, May 16, at 2 p.m. The suspect was unsuccessful.

More robberies on the same streets, same stuff stolen in the same way. This isn't news until something's done about it.
