Police Blotter: Guns, TVs Stolen, Sheds Broken Into

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

 

First-Degree Burglary

An unknown person pried open the front door of a home on the 9300 block of Leigh Choice Court in Owings Mills on Monday, May 21, between 11 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Nothing was reported missing.

An unknown person entered the basement of a home on the 9300 block of Owings Choice Court in Owings Mills and stole a 52-inch Samsung television between Sunday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 23.

An unknown person entered an apartment on the 4600 block of Waterfall Court in Owings Mills and stole two handguns, three TVs, two rings, $3,000 in cash, an Nintendo Wii, a PlayStation 3 and an Xbox 360 between Thursday, May 17, and Tuesday, May 22.

Second-Degree

An unknown person broke into a shed at a property on Staley Court in Reisterstown and took a weed whacker and hedge trimmers between Wednesday, May 23, and Saturday, May 26.

An unknown person pried open the window to Mas Communications at 11022 Reisterstown Road and stole a blue Dell laptop between Monday, May 21, and Tuesday, May 22.

An unknown person cut the latch to a shed on the 200 block of Pleasant Hill Road in Owings Mills, removed the pad lock and took a chainsaw from the shed between Sunday, May 20, and Monday, May 21.

Third-Degree Burglary

A homeowner found two unauthorized people on the back porch of his home on the 12600 block of Worthington Ridge Road in Reisterstown on Monday, May 21. The individuals said they were looking for a cell phone.  The individuals left when the victim went to look for the phone.

Fourth-Degree Burglary

An unknown person stole two BMX bikes and a mountain bike from the deck of a home on Bensmill Court in Reisterstown between Sunday, May 27, at 2 p.m. and Monday, May 28, at 11:30 a.m. The bikes were found discarded n a nearby neighborhood.

Neighbors saw four persons believed to be teenagers walk behind a house on the 4700 block of Wainwright Circle on Owings Mills and come out with three bikes, dump the bikes and run into the woods, on Tuesday, May 22. Two of the three bikes were recovered.

An unknown person stole a blue mongoose trail bike and a red trail bike from the front porch Derby Antiques on Main Street in Reisterstown between Sunday, May 20, and Wednesday, May 23.

An unknown person entered an open garage at a home on the 300 block of Cantana Drive in Owings Mills and stole two bikes between Sunday, May 20, and Thursday, May 24.
