Police Blotter: Car Thefts, Copper Stolen
The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
First-Degree Burglary. 400 block of Cockeys Mill Road in Reisterstown. Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Oct. 24. A burglar stole 18 silver dollars and unknown amount of jewelry after breaking out a pane of glass to enter through a side door.
Second-Degree Burglary. Association for Animal Rights in Reisterstown. 4:57 a.m. Oct. 25. A thief stole a jug of donation money that was sitting on the counter after entering through the unlocked front door.
Second-Degree Burglary. 5000 block of Painters Mill Road in Owings Mills. Between 2:30 p.m. Oct. 24 and 6:30 a.m. Oct. 25. A thief stole copper pipe and fittings after prying open a storage container on a construction site.
Fourth-Degree Burglary. 300 block of High Falcon Road in Reisterstown, Between 6 p.m. Oct. 24 and 4 p.m. Oct. 25. Someone ransacked the homeowners unlocked vehicle while it was parked in the driveway.
Fourth-Degree Burglary. 4800 block of Butler Road in Reisterstown. Between 9 p.m. Oct. 21 and 9 p.m. Oct. 24. A burglar stole $11 cash and a gold coin medallion from a vehicle in the driveway behind the house.
Fourth-Degree Burglary. Unit block of Rozina Court in Reisterstown. Between 3:30 p.m. Oct. 16 and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 17. A burglar took $15 cash and GPS unit, which was later recovered, from an unlocked vehicle.
Attempted Burglary. 200 block of Bentley Hill Drive in Reisterstown. Between 6 p.m. Oct. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 23. A thief stole an iPod with a black case from an unlocked vehicle and attempted to break into the home by prying off window screens.
