Photography Class, Co-Ed Soccer, Lego Exhibit This Weekend

FEATHERS IN FOCUS

  • Where/When: Soldiers Delight Natural Environmental Area on Sunday, March 20, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Why Go: This class is for photography students of all experience levels (as long as you're 16 or older!). A raptor will be your model, and you can take up-close-and-personal photos of it.
  • Pricing: $20

ADULT CO-ED SOCCER

  • Where/When: Sacred Heart Parish of Glyndon on Sunday, March 20, at 2 p.m.
  • Why Go: Get out and stretch your muscles with this weekly soccer group. Don't worry if you're not  Mia Hamm or Pelé, all experience levels are welcome!
  • Pricing: Free

FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE KABBALAT SHABBAT

  • Where/When: Beth Israel Congregation on Friday, March 18, at 6 p.m.
  • Why Go: On the third Friday of every month, Beth Israel invites everyone to enjoy light refreshments after the service, as well as music and singing.
  • Pricing: Free

CELTIC CANTER FUN RUN/WALK

  • Where/When: East Green and Liberty St. in Westminster on Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m.
  • Why Go: Dr. Patrick Gallagher and O'Lordan's Pub are hosting this fun Irish-themed event. There will be live bagpipe music, and everyone is welcome to gather post-race at O'Lordan's for food, drinks and fun.
  • Pricing:  $20 (you get a tee-shirt too!)

LEGO ARCHITECTURE EXHIBIT

  • Where/When: National Building Museum at 401 F St NW in Washington, DC on Friday, March 18, and Saturday, March 19, at 10 a.m. and Sunday, March 20, at 11 a.m.
  • Why Go: Go back to the easy and carefree days of your childhood by visiting this exhibit. See some of the awesome things people can building using LEGOS. And if you're itching to play with some after you go through the exhibit, there's a kids play area to do just that.
  • Pricing: $5 and children 3 years old and younger are free
