Glow sticks, pulsating music and the occasional spray-painted mohawk were typical of the environment Saturday on the Stevenson University campus in Owings Mills.
This year's party was even more successful than the last, said Eve Langley, director of Saturday Night Life (SNL), an arm of Mustang Activities and Programming. More than 500 people showed up, compared to about 350 at the party's inaugural event last spring, she said.
That's why SNL ordered about 650 glow sticks, booked Entertainment Avenue for the lights and the DJ's and extended the hours from the first party by two hours, or until 2 a.m., explained Langley. The event began at 9 p.m.
"I wanted people to have fun and get in a different environment," she said. "This isn't your average dance."
