Owings Mills-Reisterstown Crime: Man Found Sleeping in Storage Arrested

The following information was supplied by the Baltimore County Police Department's Franklin Precinct, which covers Reisterstown and Owings Mills. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

 

Reisterstown

Glynock Place. 600 block. 1:50 a.m. on Feb. 17. A burglar was seen in the backyard with a flashlight, and fled in a vehicle when he was spotted.

Brookebury Drive. 100 block. Between 7:31 p.m. on Feb. 15 and 5:06 a.m. on Feb. 16. A burglar entered the apartment by using the key under the floor mat at the front door, ransacked the apartment and stole $400 cash.

Gwynnwest Road and Trout Brook Circle. 3:26 p.m. on Feb. 12. A robber stole an iPhone and Apple headphones from a 17-year-old who was walking home from school but taking them out of his hand. The iPhone was recovered, but the headphones were not.

Owings Mills

Greenspring Avenue. 11200 block. Between 12 and 3:15 p.m. on Feb. 14. A burglar stole a TV, Bose radio and various jewelry after breaking a small window pane out of the front door to open the deadbolt lock.

Deer Lodge Court. Unit block. 10:17 a.m. on Feb. 13. A burglar tried to enter an apartment using a thin object to pick the lock, but was prevented from entering when the tenant locked the deadbolt.

Willow Bend Drive. 100 block. 12:47 p.m. on Feb. 13. Erick Nolasco was arrested and charged with fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property after police found him asleep in a storage locker he broke into.

Seems like nothing else is being reported on other than burglarizing. Or is nothing else happening?

These roundups are often only burglaries because I write separate posts about most other incidents like robberies, home invasions, etc.
