Owings Mills-Reisterstown Crime: $450K in Jewelry and Security Tape Stolen

Reisterstown
Business Center Drive. 300 block. 12:25 p.m. on Jan. 17. A man stole a woman’s purse from behind after parking next to her vehicle. The woman was locking her car when the suspect exited his vehicle, snatched the purse, got into his car and drove away.
Owings Mills
Antony Jewelers. 11238 Reisterstown Road. Between 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 10 a.m. on Jan. 16. An unknown thief stole jewelry in excess of $450,000 and a video surveillance DVR unit from Antony Jewelers after gaining entry without force.
Hewitt Farms Road. 10700 block. Between 12 p.m. on Jan. 15 and 12:04 a.m. Jan. 16. A thief stole various glass items after breaking into the home through the basement door. The resident arrived home after being out all day to find interior doors open.
Gentlebrook Road. 100 block. Between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Jan. 14. Someone kicked open a window, but did not gain entry to the home.
