I was a bit surprised to notice all the lights off when driving by on Reisterstown Road. I believe I first noticed this on or around February 5. If I recall correctly, the diner had been open since 1996 with lines outside the doors, but later went through several owners during its run. Unfortunately, it seemed the diner could no longer attract patrons after a while, which must have caused it to go out of business. Honestly, I'd like to see it reopened under new and better ownership.

20 years ago it was the place to go. Even 3 or 4 years ago my wife and I would still go once in awhile. The crappy service is why I stopped. Another empty building on Reisterstown Rd. that will probably stay that way for a long time.

Horrible food and dirty restaurant and it has been that way for years I am surprised it didn't close years ago

It was too filthy to eat there if what I could see was dirty, I don't even wanna think about the condition of the kitchen.

I agree: Bad service (and not-so-great food) probably resulted in this diner's demise. I hope we get another affordable place to eat in its place--and one w/o those damned loud and obnoxious women who are congregating in other area diners and restaurants to play card games. When I see them coming, I leave.

It is a sign of the times. Sorry they couldn't keep it current and alive, instead of going downhill and now closing. Our town needs affordable places to eat out that are clean and hospitable. My husband and I always end up going to Westminster to eat. If they sell the place,,, please. please no more car dealerships or auto supply stores.

Not going to miss it at all. When it first opened I frequented it. Good food good service, reasonable prices

I liked it. I don't know what people were expecting in regards to diner food. I could get a hearty, affordable breakfast with bottomless coffee. Isn't that what people really want in life?

I agree with PersimmonPark's comment, "...a hearty, affordable breakfast .... bottomless coffee". It reminded me of the diner that my Grampa used to take us. ahhh, the memories!

The service was great. The atmosphere was drab. It would be a perfect place for a Gino's.

We will miss Sue and Betty. Betty gave us the best service ever. We enjoyed the burgers,ribs, and fried chicken, spag.& meatballs. We (Ch and Mike) ate there a lot always finding the place very clean.The place will definitly be missed. We will miss seeing all the regular customers there as well.

I will miss the diner. Best place to go for breakfast. Loved their salads and spaghetti. I got a gift card for Christmas and never got to use it. Any way of cashing it in?? I would like to see Checkers move in there.

The building is so charming and it's a shame that it sits empty. I'd love to see a talented restauranteur take over, clean and spruce up the restaurant up, hire a real cook, use good whole foods and play on the 50's theme that is there for the taking. Everyone always blames the economy but the Outback/Bonefish are able to draw people but you have to have good food, a pleasant atmosphere and good service.
