Music on Main Street Kicks Off Sept. 21

The Reisterstown Improvement Association presents Music On Main Street, which kicks off on Friday, Sept. 21, at Franklin Middle School with Wylde Fire.

The Reisterstown Improvement Association (RIA) will present Music On Main Street on three upcoming weekends.

The concert series, which takes place in front of Franklin Middle, kicks off Friday, Sept. 21 with Wylde Fire, who play from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The band describes itself as the area’s premier party band, and its catalogue includes songs from The Beatles to the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Sugarland.

A second concert will take place on either September 28 or 29 and a third on October 6 with Wylde Spirits form 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“We hope we can do this again next year and make it in July,” said RIA president Glenn Barnes.

Sponsors include Bloomin’ Artfest, Farmers & Merchants Bank and Wawa. Barnes is expecting donations from several other local businesses as well.
