An argument between friends turned into a crime after the man allegedly put both hands around her neck.

According to a report from Baltimore County police, at 4:15 a.m. Sunday, during a verbal altercation, the man allegedly went into the woman's bedroom, allegedly grabbed her off the bed and threw her against the wall.

Her head allegedly struck the wall at her home in the 8300 block of Township Dr. in Owings Mills.

"The suspect then placed both his hands around the victim's neck and began choking her," the report states.

He allegedly threatened to kill the victim if she called police.

Police know who the suspect is and have issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of first- and second-degree assaut, the report states.
