Juvenile Arrested After Punching Victim in Front of Police

Police were at an Owings Mills apartment trying to figure out what was going on when a teen punched a 24-year-old in front of them.

A 16-year-old Baltimore resident was charged with second-degree assault and third-degree burglary after punching a victim in front of police officers.

Police responded to an apartment in the unit block of Stonemark Court in Owings Mills around 10:43 p.m. on Dec. 26.

“The suspect was at the door and police were trying to find out what was happening,” said Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Baltimore County Police’s Franklin Precinct.

When the victim opened the door, the suspect pushed it open and punched the victim, Doarnberger said. The teen was arrested on the spot.
