Historic Cannon on Display in Annapolis After Leaving Reisterstown

A cannon the was used is in the oyster wars of the late 1800s is now on display at Maryland Department of Natural Resources headquarters in Annapolis after it was purchased from American Legion Post 116 in Reisterstown.

This cannon, an early piece of Department of Natural Resources history, was acquired by DNR in December from American Legion Post 116 for $40,000. Read the DNR press release here.
