Not surprising. These Precinct 2 coppers drive like maniacs, even when they are not en route to a call.

How do you know whether or not they are en route to a call?

You know what?? It's not up to you to decide. What does it take for you to give 10 seconds in your oh-so-important life to move out of the way for the police? If it's not legitimate, they'll get caught in time. In the meantime, GET OUT OF THE WAY.

You're not nearly as important as you think you are.

Stan knows because if they are on the way to a call, they should have their lights on. Stan is right - they drive like maniacs around there WITHOUT THEIR LIGHTS on... Constantly.

1/ the most important task in an officers job is going home alive to their loved ones.
2/ if the officer does not get to a call, he/she is good to no one.

Stan I hope you never need a Baltimore county police officer ever but if you do I know they will be there because my cousin is a BC police officer and no matter what your opinion is, they serve and protect everyone. The comment you made was shallow at best when you don't even know the details of the accident.

"Coppers" ' haven't heard that term since Edward G. Robinson phrased it back in the 50's ("dirty coppers") Stan, it's politically incorrect and dates you, you dinosaur ! Now, do the right thing, and publically apologize.
Once upon a tme (60's), I had a button that stated "Support our Local Police" (Large Letters) and in small print "Or they'll kill you!" So I wore it to 'Roll-Call'. My Sargeant had a 'tizzy-fit'
Point is:- First Ammendment Right to Free Speach, you can say anything you want, but it has consequences ! Stan, do the right thing !!!
