Attempted Armed Robbery at New Town Rite Aid

A man armed with a black semi-automatic handgun demanded money from a Rite Aid cashier, but fled the scene when a manager came to the front of the store.

 

An armed man attempted to rob the Rite Aid in Owings Mills on Monday, Nov. 12.

The man walked into the store on Lakeside Boulevard in New Town, at 5:29 a.m., displayed a black handgun, demanded money from the cashier, money from the safe and to see the manager, according to a Baltimore County police report. When the manager came to the front of the store, the suspect left.

Anyone with information is asked to call Baltimore County Police at 410-307-2020.
