At least one person was transported to the hospital after a head-on collision Sunday night in Owings Mills, police said.

Police were called the 8600 block of McDonogh Road in Owings Mills at 7:57 p.m. for report of a head-on collision between a Honda and an Audi. One person was sent to Sinai Hospital’s trauma center. Medical personnel were evaluating five people at the scene, according to Baltimore Police Cpl. John Wachter.

The police’s crash team was not assigned to the incident, which means there were most likely no serious injuries involved, Wachter said. Police and medics were still at the scene at 8:45 p.m. and others might have been transported to the hospital, Wachter said.
