Baltimore County Police have charged a 19-year-old Franklin High School student with attempted robbery and second-degree assault in an incident in which a teacher was pushed against a wall in the school’s cafeteria.
Dominique Talley, of the unit block of Saffron Court in Reisterstown, was arrested in school by police Wednesday afternoon and is being held at the women’s Baltimore County Detention Center in Towson on $2,500 cash-only bail, according to police Capt. Matthew McElwee, commander of Franklin Precinct No. 3 in Reisterstown.
Talley is accused of grabbing a 58-year-old female instructional assistant by the collar and pushing her against a wall in the school’s cafeteria at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, said Lt. Stephen Doarnberger, assistant commander of the Franklin Precinct.
The suspect demanded money and attempted to remove one of the woman's bracelets, but did not get money or the jewelry, police said.
