On Friday, November 16, the entire student body of Jemicy School raised $1461.15 for the victims of Hurricane Sandy.  Adding to the motivation of helping those in need was the privilege of enjoying a casual, dress down day in exchange for a donation.  The money is being sent to an organization called Respond & Rebuild. They are on the ground in Rockaway, New Jersey, coordinating volunteer efforts to help families there rebuild their homes and get back to their lives. This money will go a long way toward helping their efforts.
