One-Day Collection
Towson, Maryland (October 31, 2012) - On Sunday, November 4, Baltimore County residents may bring household hazardous waste items to a one-day collection event scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Baltimore County Western Acceptance Facility:

The event is hosted by the Baltimore Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability (EPS) in cooperation with the Police, Fire and Public Works departments.
What to Bring
Baltimore County residents may bring household paints and chemicals, lawn and garden chemicals, automotive fluids, cleaning solvents, swimming pool chemicals, re-chargeable batteries, medicines, mercury thermometers and thermostats, fluorescent light bulbs, fireworks, and ammunition. No trash will be accepted at this event.
Seasonal Drop-Off Center
For those residents who can't make it to the one-day event, Baltimore County operates a seasonal household hazardous waste collection facility at the Eastern Sanitary Landfill:

This household waste drop-off facility is open April through November and operates Monday through Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
